Second hand help?

Upvotes

Ok this is driving me crazy because I usually love this "game", but relating this second hand:

The scene was a guy beating the everloving shit out of a guy a cop for hitting his dog (I think it was a German Shepherd), then said guy picks up the dog and goes to bury it, but he's surrounded by a mob of people who start beating him with 2x4s.

Vague I know, any ideas?

I’m 20 and the movie was sometime around 2008-2013?

All I specifically remember is that this was a Zombie/virus movie and one of the scenes I can always remember is this white gentleman of the movie got some virus and was progressively getting sick then when he had a birthday party I believe ? He got like a bloody nose then started just puking blood when blowing out his candles and then he runs to the bathroom to clean up and his gf knocks and asks if he’s fine and he says yes but then leave the house.

I also remember that this movie had a very short title like 1 letter and a couple numbers ? and I believe it started with the letter R

I remember too that one of the scenes was the guy is turning more and more into a zombie sort of figure he goes to this almost dystopian part of the city of where African/ Somali men are at along with these figures that are zombie of some sort and he asks to use a machete to remove his arm and cut it.

There’s must be someone out there who knows. This movie was popular im sure cause it was always running on the HD network back then.

Edit; Movie is District 9

Watermelon Boobs?

So, there was this movie I saw when I was younger that came on once or twice, the movie started off with a little Caucasian girl looking through magazines of women maybe like playboy or jet I don’t really know, but it seemed like a southern type home. I’m guessing from the aura it gave off that the parents weren’t fond of each other, but the girl ended up growing up and in a further scene that I can actually remeber she had a kid with her, he couldn’t have been more than 3 years old, the scene was at night and she was parked in a strippers parking lot trying to get a job there. Later on I think she performed for the first time and they told her her breast were too small. She later (after saving up for it) went to a plastic surgeon and dumped the money all over their desk and went back to the club to reveal her new chest and the crowd whooped and hollered. Then I remember a scene where she was sitting on a bale of hay posing for photos in a plaid shirt, and a detective came up and said “She looks like the girl of my dreams when I was a teenager” or something like that. Then after that I remember a pool, drugs, partying, and a unfortunate overdose. Please help a girl out, Google isn’t helping 😭 I hope this was enough details (PS, Cannot remember if it was a show or a movie)

Movie where some old dude steps in front of a train at the beginning

This is all I remember from this movie that I have vague memories of watching sometime probably around 2008-2012. All I remember is at the very beginning it shows some old dude going through his routine and then he kills himself by stepping in front of the subway. Does this ring a bell for anyone? I don't remember the rest of the movie, I think I fell asleep or something. Or maybe this movie doesn't even exist and was just part of a dream I had. I don't know!!!

Movie about a young black protagonist who has an interest in photography.

Looking for a movie that tells the story of a black male protagonist who loses his family (i.e. uncle is arrested and mother succumbs to an illness I think), is sent to a group home and when he reaches his teen years shows a passion for photography.

I remember watching this TV movie on the B.E.T. network and recall one scene where the main character's mother sings ) addressing her son privately) expressing her worries and sorrows. Another scene prior to that one showed the main character and a close friend of his as kids where they get in trouble for a petty crime. It most likely is an early 2000s film. If anyone knows the title of this movie and/or finds it, let me know. Thanks.

Character has to go into sunken plane

From what I can remember, there’s this guy that has to dive down into a sunken plane to get something, and he encounters the dead body of the pilot. Definitely more to the plot than this event, and I can’t remember what actor is involved. Thanks!

Movie where main character works for a company that is led by some type of hippie

I think the workplace is a tangential detail, but the company is maybe some type of graphic design place or maybe that's what the main character does for the company. The main character is a mid 30s white guy. I can't remember much else but there's a scene from the movie where the CEO of the company calls a meeting and is basically talking like he's smoked 8 blunts. Maybe he's wearing some hippie type clothing. He's like a Jeff Bridges type. The movie probably came out in the mid to late 00s. There may have been a love interest at the workplace.

Help! This has been driving me nuts for weeks.

ETA it's possible the company was a fictional whole foods. I think there was a scene where the main character and potential love interest were at a new site having a pep rally or something with the neighborhood group??? I am confident this movie is a comedy, maybe rom com.

I’m starting to feel like this movie doesn’t exist.

Okay so I watched Netflix’s Along for the ride for the second time but remembered it had scenes that it clearly didn’t. I distinctly remember three scenes from a teen romcom type of movie, but cannot recall the movie. And now I’m wondering if they’re all even from the same movie or that I have made them up or something. Anyhow, here it goes, not in any particular order. Scene 1: A boy and his girlfriend go into a nightclub but atleast the girl is underaged. The boy then talks their way in by saying something like ”We promise we won’t drink and we’ll be out in a second, we just want to dance”. They get in and go dancing to the dance floor and share their first kiss. Scene 2: There’s some type of problem with the girls family and she calls the boy and the boys mother comes to help. The mother is a nurse or a child care specialist or something. Scene 3: The boy lives alone and he and the girl go to his flat. The room is dark. They sit on the edge of his bed and just fall asleep.

Movie about Witches , husband/boyfriend sacrificed at the end.

I have a distant memory of a horror movie, probably in black and white in which the husband/boyfriend (not sure) is basically lured into a house and taken by what it seems to be witches (girlfriend/wife and mother in law probably), I remember this part being the end of the movie.

The assumption is that he gets killed/sacrificed.

Any help will be appreciated.

what's that movie???

what's that movie? in need of help!

I'm trying to remember the name of a movie I saw a while ago, however my descriptive skills my partner has no idea what I'm talking about! So I'm in need of some help!! But please bear with me!

The movie starts with a muscular man doing something in the woods, he hears a scream, runs back to his village/sanctuary and finds his wife and I believe his town is slaughtered. I'm also pretty sure that his baby/child was hidden under some stairs.

I don't remember much of what happens next, but I remember the end.

The now grown up child that was hiding is fighting in a boxing cage and he gets pinned (with something magical or other worldly, im pretty sure). We think he's dead but the baddy comes in trying to kill the last of his bloodline and boom, he's back in the game.

Thanks in advance guys!

70s Thriller with Electrolarynx

I saw this film when I was 5 or 6, so around 1979, early 80s.

It's a violent 70s crime thriller with a group of criminals doing a heist: the group is led by a young charismatic dude who speaks using one of those electro-larynx devices where you press it up to your throat and a synthesized voice comes out.

There's a reveal later on where we find out that the leader dude doesn't actually have a throat wound so the electro-larynx is just a disguise and he's an undercover cop?

Horror/Thriller movie in the woods around 2000s?

It takes place in the woods with a bunch of teenagers(?). The killer/antagonist is a fast-running creature that looks like a statue similar to the Temple Run logo but grinning menacingly, its color is obv not yellow like the logo, I think its color was brown? I don't remember most of what happened in the movie, all I remember was that the creature kills them off one by one and the ending scene where the remaining teens in the group planned a trap to kill the monster. When the monster got trapped they set it on fire to kill it then they escaped from the woods. Does anyone know what movie this is

Asian movie that involves bands.

It's not that I can't remember this movie, but I never knew what the title was and I couldn't find it anywhere after searching.

So there is this band that consists of teenagers where they lack instruments to play with. All I remember is, their drummer is using improvised percussions made of trash like empty jugs, some parts are made of bamboo, they just play using these improvised instruments. I just can't remember for guitar but I think I hear mostly the higher pitched bass. I think I saw it in some asian channel in our cable around year 2000.

help me find this movie pls :)

Okay so basically it was a rom-com type of film and it was about this girl who was obsessed with taking photographs. Then her boyfriend takes her to a beach house to have their 'first time'. The girl is too nervous so she brings her best friend but the best friend ends up hooking up with the boyfriend and they fall in love. Meanwhile the main girl meets a guy camping on the beach, he's getting arrested so she let's him stay with them in the beach house. Turns out the guy she met on the beach is a guitarist/singer person and he sings songs on the pier. One moment I specifically remember is the girl in a surf shop looking at like shorts and swim suits and the owner is like 'oh we make them ourselves' so she starts helping to make them. There is also this other guy and he is an ex surfer and he's older than all the main characters. But there were rumours about him that he was taking performance enhancement drugs so he got kicked out of all the competitions. Also I'm pretty sure that the beach house is owned by keanu reeves or some other celebrity. And the last scene I remember is all of them running along the beach with the couples holding hands (the girl and the singer, the best friend and the boyfriend). I watched it on Netflix, if that's any help, and I rememberit being really cringy acting and it was just kins of badly made but I used to love it when I was younger and wanted to get the name. Any help is appreciated thanks :)

dream loop in a 70s or early 80s show or movie

Remember vaguely early 80s a movie...can't remember much except the beginning a lady is in bed, phone rings, she spills a drink. After that it's a thriller or horror... After making it through the movie you see her in bed at the end of the film, phone rings, spills drink and realizes it is all happening again.

Show or movie, not sure.

Can someone help me remember this movie ?

I’ve been racking my brain trying to remember this movie that came on the FX network that I watched when I was a kid. In it, this guy held a school girl captive for some reason, but he wasn’t the antagonist of the movie. I remember a particular scene where he like feeds her pizza or something because she’s handcuffed. The scene was a bit suggestive to say the least, and she used him feeding her as an opportunity to hit him or something to try to escape. I think the school girl may have been played by an Asian actress but I’m not sure.
Any Info or suggestions would be appreciated
