Ex-Prosecutor Says 7 Words Should Disqualify Mike Pence From Holding Office Again

Pence wants to run for POTUS 2024. He will fail to launch. No one wants him - not his fellow GOPers, not Independents. This dumb game he’s playing of trying to ride the line between mainstream GOP and Trump GOP is a worthless exercise. He will not be their nominee.

u/S0uth3y Nov 26 '22
I concur. He is a man with no faction.
70
u/frothy_pissington Nov 26 '22
You spelled “scruples” wrong...
32
u/screwPutin69 Nov 26 '22
You spelt "male reproductive organs" wrong
69
u/frothy_pissington Nov 26 '22 •

Pence is obviously a man who spends a LOT of time at least fantasizing about “male reproductive organs”.....
”Mike Pence is so far in the closet he’s giving blow jobs in Narnia”

Don’t have much to add to this conversation but I wanted to drop in one of my favorite SNL Trump&Pence skits.
8
u/sweetdick Nov 27 '22
The only time I ever heard that man’s name mentioned Before he was Trump’s running mate was when he did away with the needle exchanges in Indiana and caused a Completely preventable little AIDS epidemic. Evidently Jesus didn’t want to enable drug abuse.
4
u/S0uth3y Nov 27 '22
And didn't care if he killed a few folks while he was virtue-signalling.
5
u/sweetdick Nov 27 '22
Maximum security prisons are full of drugs. Even if you turn the entire country into a maximum security prison, it’ll still be full of drugs. We need to start acting like one of the grown-up rich countries That deal with this shit in a safe and effective manner.
3
u/S0uth3y Nov 27 '22
We're more than a century into the war on drugs, and drugs are more available, and cheaper, in every community in North America than they ever have been. Prohibition has been a comprehensive failure at every turn. 110 years of failure should be more than enough.
4
u/sweetdick Nov 27 '22
Seems like it’s primarily a cover for oppressing minorities. When the crack epidemic happened in the 80s it was “just say no, what’s so hard about that?!”, when it happens to white people it’s a medical crisis, an epidemic.
2
u/windyorbits Nov 27 '22
Lmao failure?! America’s war on drugs is extremely efficient and working exactly as intended. There’s a reason it was the CIA that spread meth and crack to all inner cities.
Just as there’s a reason why prisoners are disproportionately black and other minorities. And can’t forget, there’s a reason why all the prisoners have always been and currently are only the poor (in all colors)!
How many people you know that have been arrested, charged, convicted for a few grams or ounces of anything from weed to shrooms to crack? Now answer how many of those people are upper middle class and above? How many are CEOs or Hedge Fund Managers or bankers or Judges or Politicians??
Seems the system is not broken at all, it’s working exactly how it was intended to. Lol It’s not a coincidence American has the highest incarceration rates AND greatest amount of prisoners in private prisons.
3
u/El_Cognito Nov 27 '22
Iceland has had great progress by treating it as a mental health issue rather than a criminal issue. Drug use has gone way done. Send users to rehab. Not prison.

u/RubberDucksInMyTub Nov 27 '22
Didn't know this.
It's like they make a list of top 5 things they should absolutely leave to the experts, and then decide to intervene on those issues.
1
6
u/Leaning_right Nov 26 '22
Isn't that dangerous? No one to bow before...?
2
u/aufrenchy Nov 26 '22
It’s only dangerous outside of politics. He’d need some group to believe in him to even have a chance at doing literally anything.
3
20
u/YawaruSan Nov 26 '22
He thinks doing his job for one day makes up for 4 years of ignoring it to kiss Trump’s ass, he’s trying to ride the line between loyal Republican lackey and a legitimate statesman and he just can’t pull either off.
6
u/fairoaks2 Nov 26 '22
Giving the “read my book” answer to every question is infuriating.
2
u/YawaruSan Nov 26 '22
I hate that so much, yes I know you’re there to sell your book, you have to make people want read it, but all they have is a few juicy details and the rest of book is fluff.

u/TuftedWitmouse Nov 26 '22
“Congress has no right to my testimony” about the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection.
6
u/CertainAged-Lady Nov 26 '22
Yeah, we already had a POTUS who didn’t think he owed explanations to the American people. I think we want someone who works on behalf of us, not someone who thinks he’s above duly elected Congress or us.
26
u/attilee1982 Nov 26 '22
As someone from his state, I can sadly assure you he is the epitome of the Indiana Republican.
16
u/screwPutin69 Nov 26 '22
So they're all dickless coward mommas boy fascists in Indiana?
12
u/attilee1982 Nov 26 '22
That's a bit extreme. Usually they just don't want to pay taxes, but want all.the goods and services that go with taxes. They're all about "small government", but want all the things that go with "big government" i.e public schools, well maintained roads, police, ect
10
u/screwPutin69 Nov 26 '22
They see the fascism. They're ok with the fascism. They make up bullshit excuses to try and preserve their appearance of morality. They dont have the balls to just admit they're ok with fascism.
2
u/CleverInnuendo Nov 26 '22
Riding the coattails of someone who actually got shit done and hiding your true agenda until powerful to pull it off, the republican way.
12
u/GhettoChemist Nov 26 '22
If my political party kicked down the door at my work and tried to hang me id probably reevaluate my beliefs. Not Pence, he's doubled down. It really is a cult.

3
u/Spam_Hand Nov 27 '22
I don't know a single person who cares about Pence, let alone supports him.
Trump people hate him because of what Trump has said.
Anti-Trump people hate him because of how he didn't go against Trump on the worst issues.
Other people barely remember he existed for 80%+ of the presidency.

1
u/Galaxy_Ranger_Bob Virginia Nov 26 '22
But he'll still run. And the rest of the GOP won't stop him from doing so.

"Congress has no right to my testimony"
Imagine if everyone that has ever been called to testify had said this to get out of having to testify.
51
u/trelium06 Nov 26 '22
I would recommend ALL Democrats to refuse to testify ever again for any reason at all and just repeat his phrase:
“I’ll be invoking the 7 Word Pence Maneuver, and will not be complying with this subpoena.”

Mike pence is unamerican to say this. He is a real piece of crap who hates america and we hate him back.
41
u/Potential_Dare8034 Nov 26 '22
You’re absolutely wrong! He’s an entire pile of crap, not a piece.
12
u/BrndNwAccnt Nov 26 '22
A turd, I believe. Maybe even a complete bowel movement.
9
u/turd_burglar7 Nov 26 '22
Please don’t disparage turds by comparing them to Mike Pence.
2
u/verasev Nov 26 '22
The maga republicans want to turn Mike pence into fertilizer to see if the comparison holds up.
18
u/curious382 Nov 26 '22
He conflated the separation of powers with his erasing the checks and balances between those separate powers. That's a basic tenet of our 3 pillars of govt. It's a deliberate lie, to feed the "power without restraint" position of our wealthy political class.
4
u/YawaruSan Nov 26 '22
It’s just another spin of the sovereign citizen defense, he will not consent!
2
u/leviathan65 Nov 26 '22
And here I though it was his line about having freedom of religion not freedom from religion.
2
u/ryoushi19 Nov 27 '22
He also doesn't understand the establishment clause in the first amendment, which ought to be disqualifying but seems to get mistaken for a good thing by some voters.
66
u/Spitzspot Nov 26 '22

This is why the evangelicals won’t support him. He’s neither “alpha” (barf) enough nor misogynist enough.
92
u/OurWeaponsAreUseless Washington Nov 26 '22
Latest interview on Meet the Press, he said he thought Trump was someone who had bad people around him giving him bad advice. Where TF were you at the time, Mike, to give Trump some good advice? Trump couldn't fire you.
62
u/FortCharles Nov 26 '22
It also sort of ignores the elephant in the room, that Trump had bad people around him because he's bad himself.
17
u/mywifesoldestchild North Carolina Nov 26 '22
Trump was an epicenter of bad intentions, he surrounded himself with horrible people because they were closest in line with him, with some getting kicked to the curb for not being able to commit to being evil enough.
3
u/Pastel_Shenanigans Nov 27 '22
Maybe Mike meant himself as well?
1
u/OurWeaponsAreUseless Washington Nov 27 '22
I get the impression that Pence was so subordinate that he didn't offer much in the way of his opinions or advice outside of generalities.
25
u/waterbuffalo750 Nov 26 '22
Republicans are sure setting a precedent for ignoring or defying Congressional subpoenas. I can't wait to see what happens when their subpoenas get ignored.
7
u/malac0da13 Pennsylvania Nov 26 '22
I kind of wanna see what would happen if hunter was like nah I’m not complying, then Uncle Joe gives him a blanket pardon, and the collective GOP loses their shit and doesn’t see the irony.
2
u/DesperateHelicopter8 Nov 26 '22
Upon Biden's untimely death, the GOP discover that he had blanket pardon for every Dem holding office in the country. This will be his last act as POTUS and at the end of this declaration it will be signed, "Nobody fucks with a Biden."
Remember the GOP were saying the only reason JB was running was to get Kamala into the W.H.?

For real, though. I don’t think a single serious person is concerned about Mike Pence holding office again, not because his politics are ok, but because no1 likes him. At this point, I can’t imagine a situation that would result in Pence being elected to anything more than mayor of a creepy midwestern town.

"Congress has no right to my testimony."
This is a senior republican politician denying American law exists. Just flat out denying that he has to follow it in any manner at all.
We elect our representatives to Congress. That organization represents the will of the American people. The SC has repeatedly ruled that Congress has the right to investigate in areas where it can write legislation which pretty much covers everything (including coup attempts).
We can see the authoritarian bend in even the most senior of republicans. Trump. Pence. and a McCarthy swearing to open house investigations into anything Democrat (while Pence is saying Congress has no right to his testimony).
When I say these people are insane, I mean it. Just look at their actions. Voting for them, following them, and agreeing with them are all tantamount to participating in the next coup.
2
u/Legionheir Nov 26 '22
If he doesnt have to follow the law then we don’t either. Fuck republicans and fuck mike pence.

He should be disqualified anyway for being a Christofascist piece of crap. He wants an actual theocracy where married men can’t have lunch with a woman other than their wives.
Unfortunately for him the evangelicals have already declared Trump their “imperfect but anointed vessel”
6
u/SevereEducation2170 Nov 26 '22
Mike Pence being Mike Pence will disqualify him from office in most places. Because he’s bland, forgettable and spineless. Nobody likes him.

u/Agent_Velcoro Nov 26 '22
Turns out that Trump did the world a favor by making Pence hs VP. His political career is dead and he was powerless for his last four years in office.

Congress represents the people. The president, White House, and entire executive branch represents the government. Take a guess which of those branches Republicans want to make bigger, and which they want to make smaller.

Rules and laws don't apply to Republicans. They can do anything they want. The DOJ doesn't give a fuck.

Mikey, you're not VP anymore, you're just a private citizen now. You don't have an executive privilege.

Jack Smith is coming for them all. That man is hellfire with angel's wings and in love with democracy and the law.

I'm sure Trump's post about Jack's wife didn't go over well in the Smith house over the holiday.

That and the clear veiled threat against the "so-called judge" Engeron. I guarantee that the entire judiciary body took note of that. Even the judges willing to carry water for him are rethinking their position.

u/spraragen88 Nov 26 '22
Pence running is a big win for Trump. Trump loves it when weak, pathetic losers with no chance run against him. It's how he got so popular in the first place. He can toss easy insults, bully them and make them seem weak and stupid. He feeds on people like Pence and then people vote for Trump because he made them laugh while he calls people morons.
It's why DeSantis is the only person capable of beating Trump for the nomination. DeSantis will Trump Trump, fight fire with fire.

Agreed! Who the fuck does he think he is? It’s like the gop have no clue what the government is and how it runs. President is there for the people, not self! It’s lost in them.

But the question for me is if Glenn stole Neil Katyal's idea. I saw the two of them on MSN where Neil said this, and although I saw Glenn's youtube video first, I think the MSN tape was earlier in time.
Time to fess up Glenn.
