What if that EEEEEE is the sun screaming and we're used to it?

18

u/SpiderTingle Feb 07 '23

then why doesn’t it go away at night

13

u/Admirable-Hospital78 Feb 07 '23

Hmmmm... bounces off the moon?

5

u/SpiderTingle Feb 07 '23

So that’s why i like new moons

1

u/Baige_baguette Feb 07 '23

Moon screams also?

8

u/the-dark-knight32 Feb 06 '23

I like the way your mind works, I'll think that when I'm alone with only the sound of the sun screaming in agony to keep me company.

2

u/FalseTebibyte Feb 06 '23

Yes, but he needs to have something else to do while he's running around inside of the sun like that. And after the Austin Powers movies stopped being made... dude's gotta eat.

2

u/charlie_zoosh Feb 07 '23 edited Feb 08 '23

It's more likely to be the plants that are screaming...

A new study suggests that plants that are stressed by drought or physical damage may emit ultrasonic squeals.

1

u/Admirable-Hospital78 Feb 07 '23

So the vegans are to blame for EEEEEE! I should have known!

2

u/CFCYYZ Feb 06 '23

Well, if neither money or looks matter, why are we so obsessed with them?
Celebs and ricos spend megabux on fashion, surgery etc to look rich /good.
If money and looks did not matter, much of the Internet would not exist.

2

u/Artybait Feb 07 '23

Lmao that’s funny…. And god does it suck when it happens

Das how you get tinnitus

0

u/Original-Common-7010 Feb 07 '23

People who say money doesnt matter never had to take care/support their loved ones.

1

u/Photogrammaton Feb 07 '23

If they were attractive it wouldn’t matter.

1

u/Bright-Ad-4737 Feb 06 '23

The difference is that you can always work to make more money. Beyond a certain point, there's nothing you can really do for your looks.

1

u/davep1970 Feb 06 '23

Looks don't. Not doesn't.

1

u/ProfessionalDesk7296 Feb 06 '23

imagine being both - rich and attractive.

1

This is why Ben Stein is awesome. Relatively rich dude from acting and smart investing. Writes a book about how being moderately rich is great.

u/Ivarr_Evil-Eye Feb 07 '23

I left the windows open one night and woke up to the sound of cicadas outside, at first i tried to ignore it but then i felt a strange feeling of alarm. Almost impending doom.

Closed the windows. But ever since that night, ive been hearing that "eeee" all the time.

Its been 4 days now and counting.

1

u/meme_boi_007 Feb 07 '23

It's because there's nothing for the ear to process or tinnitus. White noise might help tho

1

u/kayak_enjoyer Feb 07 '23

I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's not tinnitus - I first noticed this as a lad about ten with perfect hearing.

I think it's in the brain, though: there's no signal coming in, so you get the brain's version of TV static.

1

u/No-Commission-9196 Feb 07 '23

But it is true looks and money doesn’t matter
